Our products go through the required certifications for Glazed Ceramics as prescribed by the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. We go the extra mile by coating our products with antimicrobial nano particles that offer extra protection and make Nugu the healthiest dinnerware to eat from.

Our products are easy to use and clean. The high-fired body offers a Neutral Safe Food surface and ensures that the colors never fade. Can be safely used in a dishwasher, microwave, oven and a freezer. Our Glaze is fired under the same high heat as its body (1260°C), making it homogeneous as well as scratch and chip resistant.

Sustainable sourcing: We source our raw materials ethically and locally. 

Sustainable making: We co-create dignified jobs and competent earnings for indigenous craftsmen. We sequester carbon by planting over 5000 trees annually. We produce ZERO waste and recycle / reuse all byproducts. We use fuel efficient, agile, circular and sustainable production processes.

Sustainable Packing: We use sustainable packaging materials like honey comb pads & covers, and green guard certified eco-green stickers and other print inserts.
